But now I got me a sniper rifle and I just pick them off from a distance. Hunting rifle helped me a lot and using VATS for headshots. Had a lot of trouble to begin with but I've figured theses guys out. The Legion assassins - I made the mistake of pissing these guys off early and now I get ambushed quite often in the wasteland.
Maybe using hollow point ammo is better for these guys? 10mm ammo is fairly cheap and common though. Now I use a 10mm submachine gun to take them out but granted I have to use the entire magazine to finish one off. Needless to say they tooled my ass fairly quickly. I really, really rely on that now to get my head around how much damage I'm actually doing.Įnemies that I hate (or hated for a bit):Ĭazadors - I had no idea what these things were when I first came across them. I like the addition of the damage threshold value (I don't remember 3 having that). Some obvious differences but I think the overall feel is very similar.
NV just seems to be a very large, very good extension of that. I've only played Fallout 3 otherwise but I loved that one too. I just wanted to touch on my Fallout NV experience thus far because it is such an awesome game! I love it but I wanted to talk about a couple of things specifically. I don't really have a lot of friends that are playing the same kinds of games as me so sometimes it makes it hard to gush over games like I'm about to do.
